Howdy y’all, it’s that time again.
That time in which I talk about what’s been going on for both me and the Millennium Exile project.
That time where I post silly gif’s, link to some stuff and just generally talk about some stuff and things….
Of course, I’m talking about the month in review!

Before I get into this, I’d like to take a moment to address some news that many of you have undoubtedly heard and that is the tragic fires that spread throughout Kyoto Animation (KyoAni).

On 18th July 2019, the popular animation studio, located in the Kyoto Prefecture of Japan, was targeted by deliberate arson attack.
A man entered into the building, reportedly spreading over 40 liters of fuel, and setting the building ablaze.
As of now, the tragic fire has claimed 34 lives….many of which aged between their 20’ and 30’s.
We are often reminded of how shitty this world (and some people who live in it) can be, but it’s just as important for us to remind ourselves of the good. That’s why I would urge you to check out some of the works of KyoAni.

My personal favorite work of theirs is Violet Evergarden, I freaking LOVE this series. It’s so full of heart and a genuinely emotional and moving story about the power of words.

On a lighter note, remember last month when I was talking about that new YouTube series called “TyRants”?
Well, the first episode was finally completed and…..eh, lol.
I like the format, and I think the concept is there for an Anime talk-show but I can definitely see some areas for improvement (in both editing, quality and format). This episode took around a month for my friend to edit and the ‘second” I uploaded the video, I was slapped with a Copyright claim….ahh, good ol YouTube.
I disputed it of course, and within 24 hours the video was back up. As this was something of a pilot for the series, I uploaded it to my personal channel and I’m glad I did. Realistically, by the time it took to film the video, fight with my friend about the editing direction, gathering resources and THEN dealing with copyright…it just took way too much time out of my life and away from MillEx.

For that reason, I’m unsure if I would make an episode 2. If I did, I’d rather do it for a channel owned and managed by someone else as I just don;t have the time. But I said I’d share it with you all, so here it is…in all it’s awkward cringy glory.

Character: Liza Stark

Introducing Liza Stark!
Liza is one seriously badass woman. She comes from East Londell and has travelled far and wide to study under the greatest technicians and engineers the world over.
She works as Hunter's appreciate and has a very commanding presence. Liza's temper scares all of the GRAVE boys, despite not possessing any special abilities.
Watch out for this fiery red-head!

Character: Clay

Clay is a mage-class Meister who fights alongside GRAVE.
He uses his abilities to do battle via street magic, particularly favouring playing cards.
He is also Setsuna's best friend and most trusted companion, as they both grew up on the streets together.
